ABOUT ME
Jordan C. Terrell is a four-time Emmy-nominated filmmaker, cinematographer, and theater owner.
Born in Fairborn, Ohio, Terrell has traveled the world telling human-centered stories—from Cairo and Beijing to small-town Strawn, Texas. Now based in Brooklyn, he works alongside some of the most accomplished creatives in the industry. For more than eight years, he has served as a trusted BTS and EPK cinematographer for Ryan Murphy Productions, contributing to acclaimed series such as POSE, American Horror Story, Feud: Truman Capote and the Swans, and American Love Story.
Terrell was also the Director of Photography for Mike Bloomberg’s 2020 presidential campaign, documenting the fast-moving landscape of a national election. In addition, he served as Director of Photography on the Emmy-nominated eight-part documentary series Texas 6 for Paramount+, where he lived in Strawn, Texas to capture the intimate, character-driven story from the inside.
Known for his ability to embed himself seamlessly into any environment, Terrell excels at uncovering the honest, emotionally resonant moments that reveal the heart of a story.
He is also the founder of The Fairborn Phoenix Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to restoring his hometown’s abandoned movie theater and creating new opportunities for emerging local artists.
