ABOUT ME
ordan Terrell is an Emmy-nominated documentary and commercial cinematographer, director, filmmaker, and nonprofit founder. His work spans documentary television, branded storytelling, political campaigns, entertainment marketing, live performance, and independent feature filmmaking.
His credits include DP work on the Paramount+ documentary series Texas 6, documentary director work with Al Jazeera Witness in Beijing, work with NBC’s experimental documentary group Left Field, cinematography for Mike Bloomberg’s 2020 presidential campaign, and more than a decade of BTS and EPK work for Ryan Murphy productions including Pose, Feud, The Boys in the Band, American Love Story, and Beauty.
Terrell’s work is rooted in emotionally driven, character-focused visual storytelling, with an adaptable approach to naturalism, composition, lighting, and real-world documentary access.
He is also the director and cinematographer of HEROINOHIO, an independent feature documentary about the opioid crisis in Springfield, Ohio. The film premiered at the Cleveland International Film Festival and later helped inspire Terrell to found The Fairborn Phoenix Foundation, a nonprofit arts organization restoring a historic 1948 theater in his hometown of Fairborn, Ohio.
Terrell is based between New York City and Ohio and is available for documentary, unscripted, branded documentary, commercial, EPK, music, and live-performance cinematography work.
